Synopsis

Rachel Hatch has returned to Hawk’s Landing, hoping for a rare moment of normal. And the chance to leave the past where it belongs.

But when Jed asks her to look into the disappearance of his nephew, Hatch is pulled far from home to the stark wilds of Wyoming’s Wind River country. The young man has been living on the edge of a reservation, caught up in drugs and trouble. Now he’s vanished—and Hatch is the only one willing to follow the trail.

What begins as a search for a missing person spirals into something far darker. A killer is hunting victims in the shadows of the mountains, weaving Native lore into a chilling ritual of death. Hatch must push her limits to stop a predator who believes the land itself is on his side.
